Terms of service
These terms of service set the rules for using campping.
Last updated: 2 August 2026
Agreement
By using campping, you agree to these terms.
What campping does
campping lets you search campsite availability. If you add an alert to your watchlist and choose notification channels, campping sends a notification when it detects matching availability.
campping currently does not take payments. Free use may be subject to usage limits.
If paid features are added later, pricing and payment terms will be shown before you are charged.
campping does not book campsites
campping does not book campsites for you.
A campping notification only means matching availability was detected when campping last checked. It does not hold a site, reserve a site, or mean the site will still be available or bookable when you open the official booking website.
A campping notification is not:
- A booking.
- A reservation.
- A booking confirmation.
- A payment confirmation.
- A price quote.
- A guarantee that a campsite is still available.
- A guarantee that a campsite can be booked.
Official booking websites
Availability can change before you reach the official booking website, and you are responsible for booking through that website.
campping does not control official booking websites, their availability data, booking systems, prices, rules, fees, or booking decisions.
Information shown or sent by campping is provided on a best-effort basis and may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. You should check all availability, pricing, rules, and booking details with the official booking provider before booking.
Park rules, booking windows, fees, cancellation terms, vehicle limits, site limits, stay limits, and other booking conditions are set by the official booking provider, not campping.
campping is not a park operator, booking agent, travel agent, payment provider, government service, or official representative of any park or booking provider.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account.
You must use an email address you control. If you add a mobile number for SMS notifications, you must use a number you own or are authorised to use.
Email addresses and mobile numbers may need to be verified before certain notifications are sent.
Notifications
campping may send account, security, verification, and service notices needed to operate your account. Campsite availability notifications are sent by the email, push, or SMS channels you choose for each alert.
campping does not send marketing notifications.
Notifications may be delayed, missed, blocked, or fail because of network conditions, provider outages, spam filtering, carrier issues, device settings, incorrect account details, expired push subscriptions, maintenance, or technical problems.
You can turn notification channels off for an alert in the app settings, remove your SMS number, or email [email protected] for help.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse campping, bypass rate limits, interfere with availability checks or notification delivery, or create unreasonable load on campping's systems.
campping may suspend or restrict access if it reasonably believes an account is causing abuse, security issues, unlawful use, reliability problems, or operational harm.
campping may delete an account after serious or repeated misuse, or where deletion is needed for security or legal compliance.
Service availability and changes
campping may change, pause, restrict, or stop features where needed for security, reliability, maintenance, provider limits, legal compliance, cost control, or changes to official booking systems.
Where practical, campping will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect existing alerts. Urgent changes may be made without notice.
Third-party services
campping may use or link to third-party services, including official booking websites, map services, hosting providers, email providers, SMS providers, push notification systems, and security providers.
Third-party services are not controlled by campping. They may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, rules, outages, and technical limits.
campping does not control third-party booking outcomes, provider outages, map services, carrier networks, spam filters, push services, device settings, or changes to official booking systems.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, campping is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
campping does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, current, complete, or available for every campsite, date, park, or booking provider.
campping is not responsible for booking outcomes on official booking websites, including missed bookings or changed availability after a notification is sent.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, remedy, guarantee, or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
Account deletion and support
You can permanently delete your account from Account security in Settings. For support or questions about these terms, email [email protected]. For privacy requests, email [email protected].
Changes to these terms
campping may update these terms from time to time.
Updated terms apply to future use from the date stated in the updated version.
If a material change affects existing alerts, campping will take reasonable steps to notify you before the change applies, unless urgent security, legal, or reliability reasons require earlier action.
If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using campping and delete your account from Settings.
